Quick Draw
Saturday August 18th

Each year the historic community of Los Olivos is host to the annual Quick Draw. Does it sound like a scene right out of the Old West? The image is close, but imagine instead the flash of paint, brushes, pencil, pastel, or molding of clay. Add the element of a 45-minute time frame for completion, and a live auction at high noon, this is Quick Draw! Artist setup in the park starts at 9 am, silent auction begins at 10 am, introduction of the artists at 10:30 am, and Quick Draw at 11am. In addition to the auction at noon, the BBQ in the park continues from 11:30 am to 2 pm. Wheels ‘n Windmills Car Show Bar-B-Q
Friday August 24th

Alisal Cellars is proud to sponsor the Third Annual Solvang Wheels ‘n Windmills Car Show Barbeque. In addition to a wonderful Santa Maria style barbeque dinner, there will live entertainment, and a sneak preview of the Car Show. The event will take place in the parking lot behind Alisal Cellars. Food will be served from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The music and wine tasting can be enjoyed from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Adults tickets are $20 and Children’s tickets are $10. Barbeque and Wine Tasting Tickets will be sold at the event or you may purchase in advance on the online shopping page of this website. Tickets are limited, purchase in advance is recommended.

Third Annual Wheels ‘n Windmills Car Show
Saturday, August 25th

The third annual Solvang Wheels ‘n Windmills Car Show returns for another exciting year! This event showcases the craftsmanship of the most distinguished and exotic automobiles on the California Coast. Festivities include live entertainment, food and beverages, and an exhibitor awards ceremony in a festive outdoor environment. 250 Street Rods, Custom and Classic vehicles will be on display. The show is estimated to bring out 1000+ spectators to the charming village of Solvang. It is a wonderful event for the entire family to enjoy. Local restaurant and shops will welcome all in attendance. There is no admission fee for spectators. The car show will run from 9:00am to 4:00pm. We look forward to seeing you on event day. Money raised will help fund the Solvang Senior Center.

Copenhagen at Dusk
Saturday, August 25th

Solvang will close its main street Saturday evening to offer visitors an after-hours opportunity to stroll, shop, dine, and wine-taste, plus enjoy live music, take carriage rides and much more at Copenhagen at Dusk.  Local merchants will stay open late and there will be sidewalk (and street) dining, wine tasting and live entertainment beginning at 6:00pm.
